Some discoloration/staining under lid and interior (as shown). Some nicks around interior lip of bowl. Light wear to base. ½ glaze scrape on side of exterior footed base. One side appears to have a slight raised seam line from the making which extends down to the footed base. At bottom of footed base, a very slight separation in the glaze (as shown). Please notice lid was decorated more in in an all-over purple color where rim is blue. We strongly believe this is the way it was crafted. Please be sure this is suitable for your taste. This product is a very rare antique American 1800s large 14 bowl of yellow ware, originating from Pennsylvania. The bowl features a floral pattern and is made of yellow ware, showcasing the craftsmanship of the Jeffords brand. It has a small hairline craze, as shown. It feels like it has been there a long time. There is a blue streak that is glazed over and a piece of unglazed clay as shown. Overall great antique condition. This one is heavy and impressive.

Here is a really nice huge Fulper Pottery bowl, shape 43 in the Fulper book called the Large Lily Bowl with crystalline blue green to tan flambe glaze over matte white. It measures 13 3/4 inches in diameter, 4 3/4 inches high, and weighs 8 1/2 pounds. Marked with the vertical rectangular inkstamp dating it to before 1917. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, just a few minor glaze bubbles. A good giant piece of Fulper with a beautiful glaze from the famous Flemington New Jersey art pottery.
Vintage Mexican Tonala Hand Burnished Globular Tecomate Form Bowl – C. The bowl features a flowering plant/cactus motif design. The vessel type is known as a tecomate (“gourd”), named after the gourds that inspired their original form. Some of the earliest ceramic vessels in Mesoamerica took the form of gourds captured in the more durable material of fired clay. Tecomates were important receptacles for community feasts, and many were subsequently placed in burials as important funerary offerings. Dimensions: 3.5″H x 4.625″Dia. Condition: Very good condition. Recently acquired over 200 pieces of Fiestaware from one estate. Please bear these were displayed on the top shelf of her kitchen cabinets and stored away for many years. We attempted to clean them for the photographs but there will be areas of surface dirt that remain. The lady used the Fiestaware over the years. Most pieces do display the typical utensil marks from use. Please review the photographs as they are also part of the description.
