This is a studio pottery signed and dated soup serving dish. Has double handles (small chip on the underside of onepictured). Sally 12-75 Signed on bottom. No other chips or cracks. 10 inches tall and 14 inches across to ends of handles. Lid is in great shape no cracks or chips. Has colonial men at the pub and on the opposite side the man on horse is running from looks like ghosts as they are floating…… Great piece will answer any questions.
Created by Frederick Rhead and often referred to as the “salad nappie”. 11 5/16″ wide from rim to rim, 4 1/2 wide at base and 3″ tall. There are three spots found under the rim. These are not defects, but rather markings where stilts held up the bowl while in the kiln. Some scratching in the interior of the bowl due to normal use/ age. One small spot on the rim that appears to be an area that did not get glazed. Please review all photos.
This vintage #1 mixing bowl from Homer Laughlin Fiesta is a must-have for collectors. Made of ceramic with the Fiesta light green glaze. It was produced between 1935 and 1944, has a smooth and glossy finish and looks like it was never used. No chips, cracks, nicks, or scratches. Add this beautiful bowl to your collection and use it as a decorative piece in your kitchen. I have several more bowls so check out my other items. NOS Vintage Homer Laughlin Rhythm COMPLETE 8pc SALAD SET with Chartreuse & Forest Dark Green Pieces. Finally putting this on the market…. A highly desired set one-of-a-kind set for the Homer Laughlin Collector who has to have it all! The question that remains… Who is going to be the lucky collector to pick it up? Likely the LAST of these complete Specialty Salad Sets in the ORIGINAL BOX – includes the already rare 9 diameter Large Forest Green Rhythm salad bowl made by Homer Laughlin and 6 Chartreuse Green Salad Bowls (the Rhythm cereal/soup bowls but used as completers for the salad set) with the original matching Chartreuse Styson 1952 NY Salad Utensils in classic mid century modern bamboo pattern. Original box has mark on the side: From Pitman Dreitzer Company Inc, Specialty Salad Set, Waldorf 335 from Homer Laughlin China. The large 9 salad bowls were likely made just for this promotional specialty salad set, which you typically find alone (we have a standalone one in the store). This Rhythm line set is classic mid century modern and timeless. The bowl design is beautiful and sleek with just a simple, round line. A great color for Christmas, the holidays, or for your green loving friend! Designed by Don Schreckengost, Rhythm was a plain round coupe shape line of dinnerware developed in the spring of 1950. Rhythm was put into production on September 25, 1950, and was made with decals and in five solid colors: burgundy, chartreuse, forest green, gray, and Harlequin yellow. Solid colored Rhythm was part of the general trade and was carried by many retailers. Rhythm flatware was sometimes paired with hollowware from other shapes to create new lines. Rhythm flatware was often mixed with Cavalier Eggshell hollowware. Dura-Print lines called for Rhythm flatware with Charm House (and later Studio) hollowware. Condition: New in box! Absolutely gorgeous antique McCoy yellowware mixing bowl in the stunning, art nouveau style, “Gothic & Vine” pattern (so named for the Gothic arches). In rich green and creamy beige, this piece is a beautiful example of this rare 1800s design. There are a few small nicks on the outside (as pictured), but this may be due to manufacturing defects rather than damage. There is also a shallow crack on the inside (does not go all the way through to the underside). There is also crazing as would be expected on an item of this age. Vintage Fiestaware #4 Green Nested Mixing Bowl. This is a wonderful #4 mixing bowl made by Homer Laughlin in their Fiestaware line. The bowl is in very good condition. There are two worn glaze spots on the bottom rim and 5 tiny flea bites of glaze missing on the rim which are miniscule. There are no chips or cracks and few if any utensil marks on the interior. There is a small dark area on the outside that looks like a newspaper ink mark. The bowl is in the original green color. It is marked clearly on the bottom. The bowl measures 5 inches tall and is 7.75 inches in diameter across the rim. If your item should arrive damaged, please send photos of package and damaged item ASAP. I try to expose as many flaws as I see and take a lot of photos for you to view. I want to have satisfied customers and I will do my best to resolve any issues. I may also use recycled packaging material for packing.
