This item is a Hull Art Pottery Woodland pattern console bowl from the 1940s. From what I’ve read, these large, shallow bowls were designed as centerpieces for dining tables or console tables. It features a distinctive harvest yellow interior that fades to cream and harvest yellow exterior upper body that transitions to a light green base. The front has a molded design of pink flowers and leaves, while the back is a molded berries and leaves design. The piece measures 14.5 inches wide and approximately 5.5 inches tall at the highest point. The oval base measures 7.5 inches by 5.25 inches with the raised “Hull W29 USA” logo. The piece is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Weight is 2 lbs, 8 ounces. Picture 7 shows the matching candlesticks that I have listed separately. For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool vintage footed ceramic console bowl / planter. Has three off-white horizontal stripes that run the outer perimeter of three sides. While we cannot make out the stamp, the piece is signed and numbered on the underside of the bottom surface (see photos). It comes to you from a large collection of Japanese pottery and ceramics. A great addition to. 3.5″ tall x 12″ wide x 6 deep. CONDITION : Very good condition. Looks like it was never used for anything more than display – it’s very clean! There is one tiny flea bite nick on the rim at one of the back fins (see photos) – nothing major whatsoever, but being mentioned for accuracy.
