While we cannot make out the stamp, the piece is signed and numbered on the underside of the bottom surface (see photos). It comes to you from a large collection of Japanese pottery and ceramics. A great addition to. 3.5″ tall x 12″ wide x 6 deep. CONDITION : Very good condition. Looks like it was never used for anything more than display – it’s very clean! There is one tiny flea bite nick on the rim at one of the back fins (see photos) – nothing major whatsoever, but being mentioned for accuracy. This ceramic console bowl measures 14 diameter and is intended for display. The red glazed pedistal bowl is contemporary in style, and its purple drip glaze is mid-century modernism. This bowl is one of a kind and signed by the artist.
The sale is for a Hull 1950s pottery Tokay line candleholder and console bowl. The bowl is in a white ceramic w/green leaves and shades w/grapes and vine branches that form in the color and the candleholder openings which are one on each bowl end. Good condition with no chips/cracks and have age related issues. The underside ridge shelfwear embossed in the ceramic Tokay USA. A few blue spots in ceramic on underside cavity and sticker residue patches. In the interior, a dark cut mark, not a crack. See all pics for they are part of condition. May have other issues not mentioned but mentioned most significant. Measures 16″ X 5 1/8″ X 4 7/8.
