Vintage Black and Gold Tom & Jerry Punchbowl Set. Glossy black and gold trimmed bowl and cups. Each cup has the Hall pottery stamp on the bottom. Ten cups in all. One large punch bowl measuring 10″ across and approximately 7″ tall. Each cup measures approximately 2.75″ across the opening and approximately 2.5″ tall. Excellent condition – there is a small crack along the back bottom base of the large bowl that must have occurred during manufacturing as it has glaze along the inside. Nice mixed lot of Bennington Pottery in the classic Blue Agate glaze. Most pieces are in excellent condition with a couple of noted flaws. Included in this lot: The Banneton 3 small crocks Bistro plate (handle broken) Pouring bowl 2 mugs (one has a small rim chip) Small cup & saucer Small dessert plate Condition: Most pieces are clean and intact. Bistro plate has handle broken off, and one mug has a small rim chip. All other pieces in excellent conditon.
Unique set of Louisville Pottery Stoneware. Based on a little research John B Taylor was at Louisville Pottery. Some of the Louisville Pottery seems to resemble M A Hadley because she was at Louisville also until she started her own business. The bowl is marked on the bottom – but unfortunately the mark is not complete. I have attached a clear and complete makers mark of John B Taylor that is labeled sample. The likeness can be seen from the example to what is on the bottom of the bowl. Please review pictures for size and condition. Unfortunately one of the mug handles has repair and there is a fracture on the side of the bowl. The fracture does not seem to affect the integrity of the bowl. Thank You for the interest!
