This set of three antique Roseville Pottery Co. Bowls is a beautiful addition to any farmhouse-themed kitchen. The yellow ware bowls feature a blue Venetian Picket Fence pattern and can be stacked for easy storage. The bowls are round and range in diameter from 7 to 11 inches, with a height of 3.4, 3, and 2.75 inches. These yellow ware bowls are handcrafted and have a glossy glaze finish. They were produced in Roseville, Ohio in the 1940s so they are USA MADE. I put that these were “new, other” in the description because these were absolutely used for display. There are zero wear marks. All 3 are in excellent condition. The only marks I see are on the edges from being stacked for decades. The set includes three bowls and is perfect for all occasions. This is a very rare set and exceptionally rare in this condition! Thanks for viewing??

Antique handmade Clay Bowls pottery bowl plate Dish from Swat valley Pakistan, South Afghanistan Region. Large handmade rustic pottery bowl glazed with colored glazes (in this case a vibrant braun or green) to achieve a mottled color-on-color spongeware appearance. The primitive nature of the bowls is amplified by the unglazed underside that reveals its terra cotta clay base. As these are vintage pieces, occasional dings and chips are consistent with age. In a land like Afghanistan, potters still throw off the hump, using rough local clay mixed with vegetable fibre, grog and quartz. This mix, while adding strength to the structure while drying, and lightness as the fibre burns out in the kiln, can however result in pits in the surface, if the matter that burns out blows out instead! Unlike glazes used in the west, most potters in Afghanistan and Swat valley pakistan stick to a few traditional recipes, rather than having the luxury of experiments. The bowl is completely preserved, only chips on the inside and in the middle of the upper edge, not restored. Glaze in good condition. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS OF IMPERFECTIONS. All items come from a smoke free home. Note: All pictures are of the actual item you will receive, we do not use stock photos unless otherwise indicated. Please send a message to request. All items are carefully and professionally packaged for safe arrival to you. If you have a question do not hesitate to send me a message. I strive for great communication and 100% feedback. This listing is for an early 20th century pottery bowl. It is of simple, organic form with a wide, rounded base and gently sloping sides that curve inward to form a wider opening. A warm and inviting aesthetic. The earthy glaze has a mottled effect, with a stunning blend of colors; reddish-orange areas contrasting with lighter beige and cream patches and hints of yellow. The glaze has a textured finish with subtle streaks and lines. The bowl has anomalies and accretion. A fine example of early Pewabic pottery. This rare piece measures 2.9″ high x 7.25″ diameter.
