Scarce 12-inch American Antique Yellow Ware 5 Banded Bowl Mocha Cream Bands. This vintage American-made 5-banded bowl is a rare find for collectors of antique pottery. This late 19th century yellow ware bowl is 11.75-inch diameter and has strong yellow color with charming slip banding. 2 bands are mocha color and the three in the middle are a cream color. Height is 5.25 inches. The charming yellow ware bowl has 2 chips on rim. Use marks on interior. A small, raised area on side interior of bowl that was done in the firing. Great color and size! Antique Ridgway Indus Pattern compote or footed bowl is in excellent antique condition. Glaze is even, no wear spots, no cracks, chips, or scratches. Offered is a vintage blue stoneware bowl measure 7.5 inches across stand 3 1/2 inches tall no chips or cracks. There is a blemish in the glazing around the rim on one side and on the edge on the opposing side. Please see pictures for closer details. Underneath side marked faintly rock holes pottery 1870 White Hall ILL. I’ll add one last picture from a similar bowl to help identify the identity of the stamp.
For sale we have a rare huge 8 Antique T &R Boote English White Ironstone Pedestal Footed open fruit bowl or compote. This huge beauty is in the early Sydenham design and form. This bowl has a opulent busy design and pattern with flutes and with a beautiful wavy scalloped opening. This bowl has the impressed Register mark that dates the piece to 1853. The pattern and overall form is intriguing and beautiful. The color is rich and glossy throughout the entire piece with the blue glaze pooling present. The inside of the bowl is excellent with no scratching of scuffing. We have not seen another bowl in this pattern and large size. We have seen more cake stands then this form and pattern. This is a fresh to the market example in excellent original untouched condition. This open footed pedestal bowl is very large and impressive at 8″ in height with the opening being 10 1/2″ across the top and the depth of the bowl at 3 3/4 all approx. The condition is fabulous with no chips, cracks, deep scratches or scuffs and no repairs. We only see a discolored glob of ironstone on the one scallop on the outer edge of the bowl and some spotty overall crazing. There is also some usage discoloration on the bottom foot of the bowl. We pictured these areas and mention them for accuracy. This is a excellent rare example and would look great displayed with a early ironstone Cake Stand. We are happy to offer for your consideration an antique French hand made TIAN bowl is in excellent condition, it is 14 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. It has no cracks or hairlines and only a little bit of glaze loss on the upper edge and a few chips on the rim. The inside is glazed with a lovely burnt orange color that has a speckled finish to it.
