VTG MAJOLICA POTTERY ITALIAN FRUIT BOWL PEDESTAL DUAL HANDLES HAND PAINTED. This gorgeous Majolica pottery fruit bowl vintage features a pedestal and dual handles. There is a well done hand painted grape and leaf design back and front. The interior is white. The under surface of the bowl reads “Made in Italy”. It has a diameter of approximately 9 1/2. The height is about 6. This vintage piece has no major chips or cracks. There is however areas that run throughout the piece which show chipped glaze (see photo’s), but do not seem to go into the pottery. Most of the chipped glaze is around the top rim of the bowl and some on the undersurface of the pedestal. Also, some chips on the handle. All of this adds nicely to the character of the piece. They are both in good condition with the exception of some crazing and a small chip to the underside of one of the leaves on the bowl.
