Vtg Majolica Pottery Italian Fruit Bowl Pedestal Dual Handles Hand Painted 9.5

VTG MAJOLICA POTTERY ITALIAN FRUIT BOWL PEDESTAL DUAL HANDLES HAND PAINTED. This gorgeous Majolica pottery fruit bowl vintage features a pedestal and dual handles. There is a well done hand painted grape and leaf design back and front. The interior is white. The under surface of the bowl reads “Made in Italy”. It has a diameter of approximately 9 1/2. The height is about 6. This vintage piece has no major chips or cracks. There is however areas that run throughout the piece which show chipped glaze (see photo’s), but do not seem to go into the pottery. Most of the chipped glaze is around the top rim of the bowl and some on the undersurface of the pedestal. Also, some chips on the handle. All of this adds nicely to the character of the piece. The bowl has age and wear consistent with a vintage piece. This is not a new bowl Please visit all our photographs as they are considered part of the description.

This is an Antique or Vintage Majolica Leaf Dish Bowl set featuring a green leaf pattern. The two-piece set includes a bowl and a hanging basket, both showcasing an Art Nouveau style with a glossy majolica finish. Unsigned but numbers are impressed and written underglaze on the bottom, and it measures 11″ in length and 8.5″ in height. Excellent condition, minor rough edge on bottom edge.

This large serving bowl measures approximately 11 7/8″ diameter and 4.5″ tall. The underplate measures approximately 14 7/8″ long and 14 1/4″ wide. They are both in good condition with the exception of some crazing and a small chip to the underside of one of the leaves on the bowl. There is also some show through of the clay through the glaze on the bowl. This has all been photographed for you to view.
