Available for sale is a quite unusual & rare blue & white stenciled Wildflower covered roaster. Produced by Brush McCoy in southeastern Ohio & dates from 1905 – 1925. This is the very first covered roaster. I’ve seen through the years. The roaster has an exceedingly high domed cover. The large wide base has four (4) blue stenciled Wildflowers. Around & two accent bands. The domed cover has three (3) Wildflower designs & two bands as well. The stenciling is sharp & crisp & has great color contrast. The base has a recessed rim to accommodate. The cover from slipping. It measures 4 3/8″ in height & 10 3/8″ in diameter. The domed cover measures. 3 1/8″ in height & 9 3/4″ in diameter. Together, complete, the covered roaster measures 7 1/4 in height! The base has two shallow flakes on the exterior rim measuring 1/4″ & 1/2″, no other damage. Shallow flakes seen on the interior recessed rim are inmanufacture & are the result of air bubble pops. The cover is in very good condition with a single 2 3/4″ thru hairline at the rim (2″ on exterior side), see. No other damage, no repairs. As seen, the domed cover has a recessed button finial grip & can. Be inverted to be used as a serving bowl as well. Also pictured, the cover can be nested into the base. Royal Doulton Flambe 3 RARE Covered Small Bowl Signed By Charles Noke Cottage England. This beautiful 3 tall covered serving bowl from Royal Doulton is a true treasure for collectors of antique pottery. The flambe pattern, with its deep red color and intricate design, is a stunning representation of the era. Handmade and signed by Charles J. Noke, this piece is a unique addition to any collection. During this time frame Royal Doulton’s pottery was made in Burslem. The DISH bowl is in excellent antique condition with no cracks or chips and would be perfect for all occasions. The design underneath is still intact as the thick glaze did its job in protecting it. It is a round shape, and 3 height makes it ideal for serving food, condiment or displaying as a decorative center piece or trinket for jewelry. The bowl is an original piece from England and has a printed backstamp with the Royal Doulton product line, making it a must-have for pottery enthusiasts. Signed Charles Noke bowl. I believe this bowl is from the late 19th century, a one-of-a-kind piece and possibly a trial piece or glazing experiment for the Royal Doulton Holbein, Rembrandt or Kingsware wares, though I cannot be certain. Very rare set of covered bowls with sterling embellishments in a beautiful pattern. One is in excellent condition. The second has one crack and flea bite to the lid shown in pictures. Evans Mission Swirl 1930s Vintage Hand Made Brown Art Pottery Covered Bowl. Rarely seen Evans pottery Niloak mission swirl style covered bowl. Shows well with a small nick to the base of the lid and narrow chip to the inside lip of the bowl rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bowl is 4″ tall and 4 1/2″ wide. Evans Pottery began making swirl pottery in 1928. Several years later they moved to Boulder City, Nevada and ultimately Barstow, California. In Barstow Evans produced Desert Sands Pottery. The majority of Desert Sands is colorful swirl pottery which has a high gloss interior and exterior. Complete satisfaction is always guaranteed.
