BECAUSE OF THE SIZE, IT WAS THE ONLY BOWL THAT HAD TO BE MOSTLY TOOLED BY HAND. MANY OF THESE ORIGINAL BOWLS ARE SHOWCASED IN MUSEUMS BECAUSE OF THEIR ICONIC HISTORY IN THE ART DECO ERA. THERE IS ONE DEFECT (SEE PHOTO). AS TO BE EXPECTED, THERE ARE A FEW INSIDE SCRATCHES FROM THE MANY TIMES THIS WAS USED IN THE LAST 85+ YEARS. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE 3 KILN MARKS ON THE BOTTOM AND THE IMPRESSED HOMER LAUGHLIN NAME AND THE IMPRESSED BACKSTAMP. THE OUTSIDE RINGS ARE CLEARLY VISIBLE.
