This is a Stangl Art Deco oval bowl in the “Twilight Blue” color. It was designed by Johann Martin Stangl. The piece is from the mid 1920 – 1930s. Stangl Pottery was located in Flemington, New Jersey. It features a distinctive fluted exterior design. This is an early piece that is highly collectible using a matte glaze prior to the later designs of the 1950′s.
