SIGNED DECKER Vintage Handmade Studio Art Pottery Bowl.
Created by Frederick Rhead and often referred to as the “salad nappie”. 11 5/16″ wide from rim to rim, 4 1/2 wide at base and 3″ tall. There are three spots found under the rim. These are not defects, but rather markings where stilts held up the bowl while in the kiln. Some scratching in the interior of the bowl due to normal use/ age. One small spot on the rim that appears to be an area that did not get glazed. Please review all photos.

Evans Mission Swirl 1930s Vintage Hand Made Brown Art Pottery Covered Bowl. Rarely seen Evans pottery Niloak mission swirl style covered bowl. Shows well with a small nick to the base of the lid and narrow chip to the inside lip of the bowl rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bowl is 4″ tall and 4 1/2″ wide. Evans Pottery began making swirl pottery in 1928. Several years later they moved to Boulder City, Nevada and ultimately Barstow, California. In Barstow Evans produced Desert Sands Pottery. The majority of Desert Sands is colorful swirl pottery which has a high gloss interior and exterior. Complete satisfaction is always guaranteed. This vintage #1 mixing bowl from Homer Laughlin Fiesta is a must-have for collectors. Made of ceramic with the Fiesta light green glaze. It was produced between 1935 and 1944, has a smooth and glossy finish and looks like it was never used. No chips, cracks, nicks, or scratches. Vintage Stoneware Clay Pottery Soup Tureen/Serving Bowl with Ladle & Lid, Artist Signed. The tureen and the ladle are by different artists. Unfortunately I can’t seem to make out the artist signature on either one but they are both extremely well made and sturdy. Tureen measures approximately 8.5″ tall and 9 1/4″ in diameter. Excellent preowned condition, no chips or cracks.
