This is a vintage Tom & Jerry punch bowl and mug set. These sets were originally designed to serve a warm, spiced eggnog-like cocktail called “Tom and Jerry, ” popular during the holidays. The set is made of ceramic or porcelain, typically from the 1940s. Various manufacturers, including Universal Potteries and Hall China Co. Produced these collectible sets. The set includes a large, lidded punch bowl and six matching cups. This is a listing for a vintage 1940s Tom and Jerry Punch bowl with lid and 4 cups. There are no chips or cracks. The punch bowl stands 7 inches tall without the lid and is 9 1/4 inches from handle to handle. The cups stand 2.5 inches high by 2.5 inches. Does not include a ladle. Does not include ladle.

Vintage Black and Gold Tom & Jerry Punchbowl Set. Glossy black and gold trimmed bowl and cups. Each cup has the Hall pottery stamp on the bottom. Ten cups in all. One large punch bowl measuring 10″ across and approximately 7″ tall. Each cup measures approximately 2.75″ across the opening and approximately 2.5″ tall. Excellent condition – there is a small crack along the back bottom base of the large bowl that must have occurred during manufacturing as it has glaze along the inside.
