Royal Vienna Hand Painted Cherubs & Gold Floral & Scrollwork Open Sugar C. 1770 Nice antique 18th century porcelain open sugar. Decorated with hand painted cherubs in the clouds surrounded by small gold flowers. Gold gilding and scrollwork along the edge. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze hand painted blue shield mark. Produced by the imperial factory in Vienna around 1770, before they started using the impressed date codes. Has some wear to the gilding and a small area of the edge that has been broken off at one time and glued back on with small associated losses. Measures approximately 5 7/8 inches long x 3 1/2 inches wide x 1 3/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.

Decorated with cobalt blue & gilt diamonds and flowers. The sugar bowl is marked with an incised B mark used Barr Flight and Barr Worcester. Circa 1792 to 1807. Has some wear to the gilding, but are in otherwise good condition. The sugar measures approximately 5 3/8 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide x 5 5/8 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
