Majolica Pedestal Dish Water Lilies. The leaves are green and the flowers are white, pink, yellow. No signature or maker’s mark. 12 1/4″ diameter x 3 1/4″ high. Up for your consideration is a very fine antique Persian art pottery bowl, dating from the mid-19th Century (or earlier). The bowl features stylized bird design with a yellow border, on a cream white background. The piece measures 9.75″ in diameter, and about 3″ tall. The bowl is completely hand-thrown and kiln glazed. Overall, the piece is in very good, age-typical condition. There is an age/firing cracks (as shown), and some minor flaking/roughness/small chips to the upper rim, as is common for pieces of this vintage. The piece is structurally solid, and presents well.
