Overall very good condition – no chips, dings, cracks, etc. Very minor tiny flea-bites on the rim, super small factory under-glaze sand bump which is hard to get a picture of but see photos for all of the details. Coiffe Limoges Pink Rose Blue Forget Me Nots & Raised Beaded Gold 9 1/2 Inch Bowl Antique porcelain bowl. Decorated with pink roses and blue forget me nots. With raised gold flowers, beading, and scrollwork over a blue and ivory background. Clouded gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with a green star over France with Limoges inside the star. Also marked on the bottom PHL Limoges France in a red circle. This is a decorating mark used by PH Leonard in Limoges France between 1890 and 1914. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide x 1 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece. This stunning Rowantrees bow is an older piece and getting hard to find. 5″ wide and 3.5″ high. The bowl is in excellent condition with no damage. This bow has “ROWANTREES BLUE HILL ME” stamp. The hand thrown bowl is well executed with prominent throwing finger ridges on the interior. The piece is finished in a striking blue green gloss glaze with gun metal gray on the bottom. Rowantrees was founded by Adelaid Pearson in Blue Hill, Maine as part of a handicraft program c. 1934 which trained local villagers in hand built and wheel thrown pottery.
