This is a beautiful antique casserole dish or tureen in wonderful condition. No cracks and very clean. The base dish does have one chip on the underside edge or rim which is hardley noticeable. Please see picture with rular for reference. The lid is great and overall the piece is in really nice condition for something this old. See pictures for condition. This dramatic and arresting covered tureen is in the Queen Charlotte pattern was probably produced by Chamberlain Worcester or one of their contemporaries in the 2nd quarter of the 19th c. The hand gilding looks to be in very good condition especially on the base dish.

All Fall/ Autumnal Colors abound from the leaves fallen on his neck to the leaves & berries on the base. The colors of the Pheasant blend right in-as they do in the wild. A small flea bite on the underside of the end of the lid- not visible when Lid is on the Bird.
C 1800 Miles Mason Hand Painted Sucrier Sugar Bowl Small Tureen Lid with Underplate. This early English small tureen/ sucrier bowl with underplate is in good condition overall for it’s c. 1800 age or possibly even late 1700′s.
The 11 asparagus style ladle is so fun. The tureen itself is about 13.75 including the two asparagus handles. The white basketweave body of the tureen is perfect.
The pattern was discontinued in 2002. 4 Pieces: Soup Tureen, Lid, Ladle, and Underplate in the “Campagna Chicken Blue” pattern by Vietri of Italy. All pieces in excellent condition. Never used and kept on display away from the sun. One horizontal chip is on bottom of tureen with paint touchup. Any other “imperfections” are part of the manufacture of these hand-made and hand-painted rustic pieces. Tureen: 9″ Wide; 8″ Tall with all pieces; Depth/Inside of Tureen: 4.25″T X 6.5″W. Ladle: 7″ X 3″. Plate: 12.5 Diameter.
