This vintage Native American Hopi Pueblo pottery bowl with bird wing design is handmade by ancient traditional methods, made from coiled clay & natural pigments. It is a beautiful representation of Hopi tribal affiliation and Native American culture. It is unsigned which is typical of pottery c. Style and design typical of Nampeyo. There is a small chip on the lower base of the pot. Also, some minor rubbing consistent with age and use. Please enlarge & look at photos carefully as they are a large part of the description.
Native American Vintage Signed Black Pottery Bowl Solid Black No Design – this is signed on the bottom of bowl and yet I could not completely make out the name of the artist. I did much research, but still cannot define the signage, etc. Looks very much like the “Santa Clara” made pottery and also that it is a Vintage piece. Measures 4″ across the top rim, 19 1/4″ around widest mid-section, and 6 1/2 high. See all pictures for added details of this RARE piece of black pottery. Solid black pottery pot with no cracks or dings, etc. There is, however, some age type spots on the lower sides of this pot.
