Vintage Black and Gold Tom & Jerry Punchbowl Set. Glossy black and gold trimmed bowl and cups. Each cup has the Hall pottery stamp on the bottom. Ten cups in all. One large punch bowl measuring 10″ across and approximately 7″ tall. Each cup measures approximately 2.75″ across the opening and approximately 2.5″ tall. Excellent condition – there is a small crack along the back bottom base of the large bowl that must have occurred during manufacturing as it has glaze along the inside. A bowl hand by Klytie Pate in a pastel blue of turquoise lustre glaze wit a matte black interior. Pt’s incised signature is on the underside. In good vintage condition, some age-related crazing is present, plus couple of small paint losses to the black interior. A black & green/brown. Bowl in ceramics, it is designed by Gunnar Nylund at Rörstrand, the bowl is 16 x 12.5 cm (6″ x 5″) in. It’s in excellent condition except from some small cracks in the glaze on the inside, why its probably marked as 2nd quality. Gunnar Nylund was born in Paris 1904 with parents who worked as sculptors and designer so he really soon started hos own career as designer for the Danish brand Bing & Grondahl where he worked until 1928. After that he together with Nathalie Krebs established the ceramics workshop Saxbo in Denmark. In 1931, Gunnar Nylund was then asked to start working for Rörstrand in Lidköping, Sweden. He worked there until 1955, most of the time as artistic director. After Gunnar Nylund Carl-Harry Stålhane became the artistic director for Rörstrand. Gunnar Nylund freelanced for Rörstrand for many years after 1955.

A lovely black mid-century bowl in ceramic from Rörstrand, Sweden, designed by Carl-Harry Stålhane. The bowl is marked as 1st quality and it is in excellent condition. Carl-Harry Stålhane is one of the top names when it comes to Mid century Scandinavian Ceramics. He was the artistic director of Rörstrand from 1950 until 1973. His sheer and elegant stoneware vases from the 1950s with speckled eggshell-like and harfur glazes in muted shades have received a marked increase in demand in recent years and are often included in international interiors and collection. His artworks are represented at MoMA in New York as well as Victorian and Albert Museum in London.
2 Red Clay Vintage Bowls Pottery. The large bowl is about 7″ diameter, 4″ tall – red clay with black markings around the top, two handles, black paint on bottom. The small bowl is shallow, has handles and a lighter color – measures about 4″ diameter and about 1.5″ tall. Appear to be handmade. Some minor chipping around the top, otherwise in good condition based on age.
