No flaws noted About Plum Tree Pottery – John Glick (1938 – 2017), earned his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1962, then operated Plum Tree Pottery in Farmington Hills, Michigan, from 1964 through 2016. There he mentored numerous young artists through his assistantship program. Among his accolades are two Louis Comfort Tiffany awards, and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. He was a prolific writer, and his work appears in numerous books on ceramics.

This is a beautiful hand thrown crackle drip glazed bowl with shell and sea snail on the rim. 9 1/2″ diameter x 1″ H. Large ten-sided faceted bowl. Wheel thrown and altered. Bluish gray glazed stoneware. Approximately 10 inches in diameter by 3 inches in height.
Vtg Louis Mideke Studio Pottery.
Beautiful large 10 diameter abstract bowl by listed artist Alan Vigland. Glazed in his popular Dark Green with Red and Turquoise highlights. The bowl stands 7.5 tall and free from any chips or cracks. The interior has a Black glazed finish as does the bottom quarter. Alan Vigland (1941 – 2015) taught ceramics at the Interlochen Arts Center and Northwestern. If at anytime there is a problem or concern, just let me know and we will make things right.
