Great size, a real Roseville statement piece, at its longest point 16″ x 7.5″ and it’s base is 11′ x 5.5. 474-8 with the blue painted R, in very nice condition, great solid glaze and colors, no chips just some kind of wear or markings on the interior top rim please see picture, some very minor surface scratches inside. 9.75 at it’s widest dimension, base diameter is 4.5. On offer is the lovely vintage low bowl made by Rookwood Pottery in 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio. This bowl features a beautiful aqua/blue/green glaze over a lighter colored base. The bowl is molded and has a band of well-defined lily pads and waterlilies in high and low relief around the shoulder of the piece. The piece is in great condition and must have been used for several years to display flowers as there are water stains inside the bowl, please see pics. It shows well and is a harder to find example of Rookwood pottery. The piece is about 5.5 inches in diameter, the opening is about 4 3/8 in. It is approximately 3 inches tall. The bowl has 4 feet which elevate it. From surface and give it more prominence. This bowl would be an excellent addition to a Rookwood collection and would be a nice accent piece in an Arts and Crafts/Mission setting. It will be mailed from our smoke, pet free home.
