Luna Garcia Pottery was a studio created in 1979 by artists Cindy and Curtis Ripley. They specialized in functional tableware characterized by simple, elegant, handmade shapes with satin matte colored glazes. Their studio was located in Venice Beach, California. Their pottery pieces became collectible and were featured in fine art galleries and homes worldwide. They were known for being sturdy and versatile, appearing on the tables of notable Westside restaurants like Gjelina, Rustic Canyon, and Huckleberry. While their items are considered “instant collectibles, ” the studio has since closed several years ago, making their pieces highly sought after.
