Vintage Pottery Bowls

Large 10 vintage / antique blue salt glazed unitarian stoneware mixing bowl. The pattern is referred to as “Picket Fence” a geometrical design. Although unmarked this style pottery is often attributed to. Ruckels Pottery (Whitehall Pottery Works). It is 5″ tall & 10″ across the top. Please see pictures for condition. I took a lot of pictures so hopefully you can see the rusticness seen in these early unitarian pieces that was actually used. I don’t really see any cracks but you can see all the pockmarks, bumps, unglazed areas so typical of these pieces. That’s what gives them their charm! Smoke-free/ pet friendly home.
