Fabulous set of 6 antique Spanish Fajalauza glazed bowls. Handmade and hand-painted, these soup or cereal sized bowls vary slightly in size as no two are exactly alike. Each has a colorful painted inner Spanish style design and are glazed over a terra cotta pottery base.
It’s made of ceramic material and has bottom rings for stability. This mixing bowl is stackable and hand-painted, with an impressed backstamp.

Very good original condition! No chips or cracks!
Size: 7.1 inches in diameter, 1.25 inches in height. Condition: Some flaking to white painted decoration underside, some scuffs to edges and scratches to glaze some glaze loss on edges and glaze imperfection spots as detailed.
These bowls are in very good used condition. We strive to be as descriptive as possible and provide lots of pictures. We have a very low breakage rate. I try to always list a flat rate option when applicable.
The bowl is hand painted; a figural of a man in a religious outfit and a griffin within the bowl. It has the spelling of Generale Civitatis PervsII StvdIvm. Signed in black on back side; cannot read what it says. There is a wire hanger on backside. Shelf wear on ridge, scuff on ceramic on edge showing underlying pottery and a small tiny flea bite on edge. Any flaws; made that way, whether it’s lumps, bumps, glaze errors spots and dots. The pattern is a lovely bouquet of flowers, making it suitable for all occasions. Made of high-quality porcelain, this original mid-20th century set was produced in the United States using an art pottery production style.
