Description: JUST ACQUIRED: a collection of vintage French terracotta pieces that we are pleased to be offering for sale! Here we have an extremely rare and very exciting find. These 8.75 utilitarian coupe soup bowls are part of the Corsica collection in Cassis de Provence, France. This glossy, vibrant terracotta art pottery is completely handmade by artists of the region. The marking on the bottom reads “FF GRIFFI CORSICA TERRAGHJA”. These pieces are in excellent condition, there is crazing throughout however. A few minor glaze skips and pops, all indicative of it’s handmade appeal. Bowl #5 has one small chip in the glaze, #8 has two; all pictured in photos 11 & 12. Measures at approximately 8.75 in diameter, however measurements may vary slightly as they are handmade. A stunning, fresh estate find that is part of a large collection! Other fresh estate items. Local pick-up is also an option free of charge. And/or can no longer be tracked. Good pre-owned condition; the bowl has no chips or cracks. The interior is finished with a high gloss glaze; some interior crazing. The exterior is unfinished, raw terracotta. There are marks all over the bowl. All are well documented in the photos. Clearly, a well-used bowl. The bowl measures 4 1/2 high at the rim. The diameter measures 9 1/2 across. See pics with ruler. A vintage TIFFANY & CO Terracotta’Thumbprint’ bowl designed by Elsa Peretti is available. Very nice used condition. Normal surface wear with a few occasional small light and dark areas, but overall, very clean. Check all the pics. Measures 3 1/8″ high at the rim and 6 7/8″ across. A vintage Elsa Peretti for TIFFANY Terracotta THUMBPRINT BOWL. The bowl is approximately 7-1/4″ in diameter and 3-1/4″ tall. The interior has a high gloss glaze – see pic. The exterior is unfinished terracotta. It shows some marks/smudges as seen in pics. The marks appear to be common in these terracotta bowls as can be seen in other listings. May be just natural for terracotta. PERETTI for TIFFANY, MADE IN ITALY. Weight : About 1.5 lbs. NOTE: Color is Darker than Photos Show. Rare or Hard To Find Vintage Unglazed Terracotta Bowl. Top of Bowl Slopes, and Lid has Indent for Utensil. Insides of Bowl and Lid are Glazed. Designed by Elsa Peretti. San Francisco Estate Find. Very nice vintage condition; no chips or cracks. Patina/staining consistent with age and normal use. Some crazing inside bowl. Tassel is missing from lid = Design your own. Size: Minimum 5″ diameter, 1-3/4″ at low rim, 2-3/4″ at high rim, and 3-1/4″ to top of lid. Total Weight: 9.3 oz.
