From the windswept Hopi mesas in northern Arizona, a classic old Hopi Indian bowl, measuring 9 inches in diameter at the rim by 2 inches deep. Painted in classic Sikyatki Revival style with abstracted feather and bird motifs and bear claws. The Sikyatki Revival style was developed by early Hopi potter Nampeyo in the 1890′s and has been carried on by her descendants and other potters to this day. There are no chips or cracks. The orange-red Hopi clay has fired a dark red, almost brown color. This bowl was made circa 1940′s to 1960′s. Addresses (48 states only). Three miniature pottery bowls made by Graciela Gallegos. Handcrafted and painted vintage southwest pottery in a plastic case. Comes with a small unsigned piece of pottery not sure what it is made of. Measurement: almost 4 inches in diameter, about 1 inch deep. They each vary a bit in size. The container is 9 1/4 inches x 8 inches, 1 1/2 inches. Small pottery piece 1 1/2 inches in diameter, 1/2 inch tall. Condition: The container has some scratches to it and some discoloration. The pottery pieces have some surface scratches and some paint smearing/smudging. The little pottery piece has oxidation to it, surface rust, wear.
