Nice mixed lot of Bennington Pottery in the classic Blue Agate glaze. Most pieces are in excellent condition with a couple of noted flaws. Included in this lot: The Banneton 3 small crocks Bistro plate (handle broken) Pouring bowl 2 mugs (one has a small rim chip) Small cup & saucer Small dessert plate Condition: Most pieces are clean and intact. Bistro plate has handle broken off, and one mug has a small rim chip. All other pieces in excellent conditon.
Antique Bennington Rockingham Brown Glazed Ceramic Lidded Bowl FLAW. Does not affect use. Measurements: 9.5″ in diameter; 8.5″ tall. Handcrafted in Bennington, Vermont, this hefty lidded earthenware tureen storage bowl has a rustic, primitive presence. We found a few hairline cracks, but they do not affect its use. Considering its age, this piece is in remarkably good condition. PLEASE REVIEW PHOTOS to see the fracture.

These bowls measure 4 1/2″ in diameter by 5 1/4″ handle to handle by 1 1/2 tall. There is some slight variation in size as expected from hand formed pottery. They are in good used condition with no chips, cracks, stains, hard water spots, or dishwasher etching. Overall, I’d rate them 9 out of 10 for vintage tableware. There are a few areas of imperfections from the maker but nothing that’s new and nothing that is Major. Everything can be seen from the photos. There is also normal crazing for its age.
