Vintage Bauer Pottery Ringware 2-quart Batter Bowl in Ivory color. 8-1/2″ wide by 4-1/2″ tall (not including handle and spout). Typical sagger marks and heavy glazed Bauer Los Angeles stamp on bottom. Overall condition is excellentthe glaze is shiny and clean, no hairlines, cracks, crazing, flea bites, or repairs. There is a glaze flake on the inside bottom (see photo 5), a few very light utensil marks, and a darker factory glaze line on the rim (see photo 2). With these things pointed out, it’s in remarkably excellent shape. Please see all photos for details. This Art Deco Spanish Revival line was produced in Los Angeles in various bright mix-n-match colors during the 1930′s, 40′s, 50′s and early 60′s, and this Batter Bowl is in a hard to find color.
