We offer an early twentieth century Royal Doulton porcelain Flambé Ware bowl signed Noke for Charles J. Noke one of the creators of the Flambé glaze in 1904. The serving bowl has a six sided bordered rim and rests on three feet. The bowl is decorated in deep indigo on a red ground with a cottage set in a wooded rural landscape. The bowl measures 2 1/4″ in height and 11″ in width. The central bowl measures 8 5/8″ in diameter and the base measures 6 1/4″ in diameter. As seen in the photographs, there are several knife marks inside the bowl and some show the white clay surface. The Royal Doulton Flambé serving bowl is presented in gently used antique condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.

Set of 3 Red Wing Bowls. The largest bowl is in the best condition. The smallest bowl has chipping on the edge. The middle bowl has a partial crack. Please look at pictures. The color of the bowls are more represented by the second picture. They are more yellow. The pictures I took inside showed a faded color.

This pattern represents the best design in white banded bowls and is my favorite. The bowl features not only raised white bands, but also a molded raised waffle design on the bottom half of the bowl.
