The dogwood pedestal stand measures approximately 13.5″ tall x 8-1/2″ at the base and 6 at the top. The pot measures 8″ tall x 5-1/4″ base diameter x 9-1/2 at the rim. Together it’s 21-3/4 tall. Very good condition, no damage. The white spots on the base are supposed to be there and are glazed(they are not chips). There is a small spot of missed glaze on the rim of the pot. For years I assumed the orangey colored area on this bowl was a repair. I have gone over the area with my fingers many times and it feels rough where theres no glaze with crazing all round. But I cant feel a definite line where youd think there was a repair. If It is a repair regardless of stain its quite good ; also shown are small old tight hairlines. Handsome 1960s Japanese Mid Century Modern Ikebana Pedestal Bowl/Vase featuring a White Pedestal Bowl with 3 Indentations on the Top Rim and a Ribbed Body with a Crackle Glaze. Retains its original Toyo Sticker and has impressed A-88 which may be a pattern number. Measures: 5 1/8″ high with a 6 3/4″ diameter at the top and a 3 1/4 diameter at the base. In excellent condition with a light center stain in the bowl which does not detract and most likely from floral clay as expected. No chips, No cracks. Vintage Vista Alegre Large Oval Centerpiece /Compote Bowl Reticulated Pedestal

Beautiful and impressive vintage large gilt decorated fine porcelain reticulated open compote with pedestal base in the “Old Paris” style manufactured by Vista Alegre of Portugal. The oval bowl features large overlapping arched openings topped with small intertwined twists. Sides are lightly embossed with a gold trimmed long feather-like decoration, the tips of which curve outward to create two small tab handles. The pure white porcelain is accented with heavy gold bands around the rim & foot and several fine bands on base of bowl & pedestal. Constructed of 2 pieces that are bolted together, both having matching artists marks where pieces meet (not visible when piece is together). Base is double-marked; has the “VA Portugal” green underglaze backstamp that was used from 1947 until 1968 and the blue “Made in Portugal” mark. Approximately 14″ wide x 9 7/8″ high x 8 deep. Gold has small spots of rubbing on 2 corners of the base & a couple of extremely fine tiny scratches. Handle has two small paint smears that appear to be from factory. Nut & washer in base have minor rust (porcelain is not stained). NO chips, cracks or flakes. Displays extremely well intage Vista Alegre Large Oval Centerpiece /Compote Bowl. For you to consider is a vintage Majolica glazed ceramic Capuchin monkey compote, tazza, or fruit bowl. Perched on a tree branch, an absolutely charming light tan monkey is shaded by a canopy of tree limbs and deep emerald green leaves which comprise the shallow bowl above. Standing 11.75 in height, the shallow dish measures 8.5 in diameter and is 2 deep. The monkey base measures 8.5 in length and is 5 wide. No hallmark is found. Very light uniform crazing is seen on close inspection but is not visible unless intentionally looking for it under bright light and is not distracting. The piece is in beautiful condition no chips, cracks, stains, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Wear is appropriate for age and history of use, so please review the photos as they are a descriptive part of the listing. Beautiful vintage Pedestal bowl from the Mid-Century by Aldo Londi For Raymore Bitossi. These pedestal bowls are rare finds!! Done in the Rimini Blue pattern. Perfect as a centerpiece, a flower bowl or as a collectible. It measures 8 5/8″ long x 7″ wide x 5 1/8 tall. Item has no cracks. There is some crazing but you have to turn it in the light to notice it. There are four tiny chips to the finish on the top outside edge and one inside at the bottom on one end.
