Vintage Signed Walter Moorcroft Green Hibiscus Fruit Bowl 7 1/2 Diameter Vgc

This vintage Moorcroft footed bowl comes in excellent condition with no chips cracks repairs or glaze crazing except minor glaze crazing to the underside (see photo). It stands 3 1/4″ (8.3cm) tall and measures just over 7 1/2″ (19.2cm) across the top rim.. It is the Hibiscus pattern with pink flowers on a green background. I think it dates to the 1930/40′s but it could be earlier. Please check the other vintage and not so vintage Moorcroft Pottery in my listings. This lovely Moorcroft bowl is a green based Hibiscus design from the 1950s. It stands 8cm tall and measures 27cm across. Glaze is bright and in excellent condition. There is a tiny crack on the edge of the foot – see pic. Its size and condition makes it a very impressive centre piece. Offered for sale is this vintage Moorcroft Hibiscus Flambe footed/pedestal bowl. It dates from between 1953 and 1978. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The bowl is approximately 7.25 inches diameter, and is approximately 2 inches tall. There is one line of crazing on the front, and a couple of pin prick size glass rubs on the rim – the tip of the pen is pointing to these. There are no chips, no cracks, no restoration. Antique Vintage Walter Moorcroft Pottery Large Bowl Hibiscus Pattern c. 1950

For sale is a beautifully hand painted bowl in the popular’Hibiscus’ design. The pattern is set on a blue background and shows large tubelined red and yellow flowers among green leaves. The bowl has a Walter Moorcroft slate blue signature and impressed stamp marks “MOORCROFT” and “MADE IN ENGLAND”. The bowl is in good condition and displays well however there is a hairline crack near the centre of the bowl extending in three directions, more visible from the back (see photos for best description). It is still a good example of an early Moorcroft piece and there are no other chips, cracks or restoration and it is of course priced accordingly. The best description comes from the photos so please look carefully at them all and if you have any questions at all please ask.
