HISTORY/MARKS: William Harry Grindley founded his pottery at the Newfield Pottery in 1880 at Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. Alfred Clough, Ltd bought the pottery in 1970 renaming it in 1978 to Grindley on Stokes.

The bowl is a green like color that may be pottery. The underbody may be a reddish clay. The inside has many black spots in the bowl. The outside has raised leaf design; could be ferns.
The square shape and unique drip design make these bowls a decorative addition to your collection. Produced in the 1950s using art pottery techniques, the Marcia product line will surely impress your guests.
