Vintage Fiestaware 4 3/4 Fruit Bowls Set of 10 Original Early Colors

All 10 original colors except the elusive medium green are here. No cracks or chips but some kiln kisses consistent with the manufacturing process for that era. Sellers home is smoke and pet free (but I love pets). From Happyheidi Fiesta guide. Here are ALL the vintage fiesta colors. Clockwise-Starting from top: Turquoise, Gray, Rose, Red, Ivory, Yellow, Chartruese, Original Light Green, Medium Green, Forest Green, and Cobalt. The bottom of the 50′s and later (that means the elusive Medium Green as well) is always wiped dry and not fully glazed like the earlier bowls. Instead of the three stilt marks used to sit the pieces on saggers in the kiln, production methods changed in the early 50s which allowed the pieces to be run through the kiln on shelves, highly time-saving and already in effect on the tea pots and sugar bowls. 4 3/16″ wide from outer rim to rim, 1 9/16″ tall and 2 7/8 wide at base. The matriarch of all Indian potters, Nampeyo of Hano is THE MOST IMPORTANT AMERICAN INDIAN POTTERY ARTIST. NUM-PA-YU was born in 1859 and died in 1942. This pot looks to date from the earlier part of her career and from slightly after the Civil War. WonderFul old patina and a fabulous “feel” to this piece and it has NO RESERVE! 4 Early Nesting Bowls 7 Band Blue & Red Pottery Vintage Early Made

4 Early Nesting Bowls 7 Band Blue & Red Pottery Vintage Early Made. Here you have a rare set of 4 very early nesting bowls with 7 bands. I supplied 20 pictures for you to view all of them from each one’s inside to each one’s outside. These have the 3 kiln stilk marks to the bottoms of each one which show they are early produced. They all have great patina aging to them and would display beautifully along a shelf in your kitchen etc. I have not seen to many 7 banded bowls yet a matched set of 4 nesting like these. They all have some aging to Surface’s and the largest 7 bowl has tight cracks(you can feel with finger) and some glaze skips to outside as seen in pics. The 2nd smallest one below large one also has very faint stress line cracks(cannot feel them with your finger) but not through to other side. The 2nd largest one next to large one to left has tight spider webbing to glaze from aging that you cannot feel with fingers. The Smallest one pretty much has no flaws. Packaged well No Worries. From largest to smallest are #12, #18, #24, #30, #36. No chips or cracks. May never have been used. A few surface imperfections from time of manufacture (see last pic). Bauer is probably the most collectible of all California pottery companies. This piece is marked Bauer 9 Los Angeles. It stands 5.5 inches tall. The measurement across the top is 10.75 inches across and the base 4.75 inches across. It is in very nice shape, no chips or cracks, maybe a tiny flea bite or two.
