Spode Newburyport Red Set of 6 Cream Soup Bowls with Saucers. This is a set of 6 cream soup bowls and matching saucers made by Spode in England. Each is in the Newburyport pattern and the design is red on a pale bluish-gray background. The bowls are 4 3/4″across or 6″ from handle to handle. The saucers are 7 across. The design features a flower basket tied with a bow on saucers at the cup ring and on the bowls inside at the bottom. There are red bands with embellishment as well. The handles and rims have gold trim. Set is in Excellent Condition with no chips, nicks or cracks. There is just small bits wear to the red border on the bowls – probably from stacking over the years. The last photo shows the worst spot I found on all the bowls but you can see it as a whitish dot on some of the others too. This is minor damage, but I want you to know they all seem to have it.
