3 x 6.75 inches. This substantial ceramic bowl features a grounded, architectural form with a deep olive-green interior glaze, brown exterior, and softly contrasting cream rim. The proportions are deliberate and weighty, emphasizing balance and material presence rather than ornament. Its restrained palette and tactile surface give it a quietly assertive character suited to modern interiors. The glazing shows controlled variation and depth, consistent with mid- to late-20th-century European studio pottery traditions that favored natural tones and functional elegance. The bowl is finished with a stamped studio emblem on the base, indicating small-batch or individual workshop production rather than factory manufacture. The maker remains unidentified, a common and accepted reality for studio pottery of this period. Works like this were often produced by independent potters working outside commercial branding systems, prioritizing form, glaze experimentation, and utility over signature recognition. On display at the Disco Freedom Gallery, 818 Hyde Street, San Francisco.

Lots of reflection in some of the photos off the glossy internal glaze.
