RARE Wallace China Westward Ho Storz Beer Sugar Bowl – Till Goodan. This is a rare vintage piece for the Western or Breweriana collection, and it is in excellent condition. Pieces from the Storz series are hard to find. This is the only sugar bowl I have seen. Measurement : The sugar bowl is approximately 4.25″ across and 3.5″ high (including the handle). Background In formation : Cattle brands, some unique to the Storz series, surround the rim of the lid and body of the bowl. Though this piece does not have the Storz beer symbol, you can match the brands on the lid to the brands on the Storz plates (see my other listings). The artwork on the Wallace China Storz line was designed by famous western artist Till Goodan. This photo shows you the difference between the sugar bowl designed to go along with Wallace China Rodeo and Boots & Saddle (the sugar bowl on the right) and the Storz sugar bowl on the left with cattle brands on the lid that match the Storz plate. There is a blemish on the handle (you can see the dark dot in the photos) and a “divot” on the underside of the lid. These likely date back to the manufacturing process.
