Vintage Wekara Ww German Stoneware Pottery Soup Tureen Punch Bowl Stein Set

VINTAGE WEKARA WW GERMAN STONEWARE POTTERY SOUP TUREEN PUNCH BOWL STEIN SET. The soup tureen is approximately 13″ wide (with handles), 12″ tall (including top) and about 10 in diameter. The bowl is signed “WEKARA” and surrounded by six castles along the Rhine with vines and grapes draped in between. Along the inside of the handles are two climbing foxes and the top is crowned with a child angel figurine resting on a wine barrel, glass in hand. The 12 cups are approximately 3 1/4″ tall and 3 1/4″ in diameter and are made by two different German manufacturers. Six of the cups are from the Hamburg “FABRIK MARKT” displaying images of ancient German castles and the other six are signed “WW” (Wick-Werke) with images of three popular German sculptures. Some of the cups have light signs of age and can use a good cleaning but the large bowl itself does not appear to have ever been used. They are all in beautiful condition and free of any cracks or repairs. Please see pictures to help determine physical condition. To check out our other listings. Thanks for looking at my listing! Please read the full description. Here for sale is a lovely 28 piece of vintage dishes from Denby, handmade in England. All pieces are the same earthy yellow / brown tone. 8 Cups (3 diameter). 8 Saucers (6 diameter). 1 Small creamer carafe. 1 sugar dish (with lid). 7 Bowls (6 diameter). 1 Serving bowl (7.75 diameter). As a whole, these are lovely plates with fairly light normal signs of use. One bowl has stress crack along the rim. One cup has significant chips along the rim. One of the salt/pepper shakers was cracked and glued back together. I have pictured the damaged pieces and dish-measurements up close in the interest of full disclosure and so that you may better judge their individual conditions for yourself. Those pieces which are not pictured up close are without significant flaws that I can see. (any item pictured but not actually mentioned in the listing) are not included. This includes shoe trees, hangers, original packaging, etc. Please contact me prior to opening a return request if there were any issues with your order. Items are pre-owned unless otherwise noted, and are stored in a clean, smoke-free environment. I do my best to accurately describe all items. One of a kind stoneware set. Signed by Dierdorff 1973. Hand thrown studio pottery dinnerware set including 5 dinner plates, 5 bread and butter plates, 4 wide shallow bowls and a cream pitcher. Versatile, attractive & highly utilitarian set. Every plate has a little bit of depth to keep juices from sloshing off. These are in excellent condition! They are very heavy & solid. Measurements: 1- cream pitcher: 4″ in diameter 3.5″+ base to rim. (these are thick stoneware) 5- Plates: approx 10.5 they aren’t all exact in size – there’s one that measures almost 11 inches in diameter and the smallest is 10 3/8 in in diameter. They’re approximately 1 3/4 inches high. Each has some depth to it to keep the food on the plate. 4- Shallow bowls or Salad plates: Approx average of 9″ diameter x 2″ bottom to rim. Again, these have slight variation in height and width. 5- Small plates: approx average 6 1/2″ diameter x 1 1/4″ (varies) Each piece may be a little different in size as each were handmade/hand thrown.
