Approximate age is unknown, estimated to be mid to late 1800′s. Could potentially be older. The mark is painted on the bottom, mark is unknown to us. The decoration was hand painted, not a transfer. Stands 5.25 tall. 9-3/8 diameter on top. 1 larger chip on the inside edge that was clued back together. 2 small chips on the outside edge. The last 3 pictures show the chips. Here is a beautiful vintage Bitossi for Raymor Italian Mid Century Modern blue speckled pottery lidded compote or pedestal bowl that has orange and yellow painted accents. It is signed Italy. The base’s interior. The compote measures about 6 inches tall without the lid, about 7 inches across the top opening and about 3 1/4 inch across the base. It measures about 8 inches tall with the lid. There is a couple of spots on the edge where there is a paint skip [see photo 8, it is not a chip] otherwise this lovely piece is in good condition with no chips or cracks ready to display. Pedestal is about 33″ tall with the top being about 14″ round, base is about 13 round. Overall piece is about 69 tall to the top of the lights. Lorenzo from Nove Italy. Romeo’s right has been repaired. There are some chips on he the inside of the bowl. Switch on the cord. There is an old pump connected to the lamp cord (this pump does not work).
