The bowl is hand painted; a figural of a man in a religious outfit and a griffin within the bowl. It has the spelling of Generale Civitatis PervsII StvdIvm. Signed in black on back side; cannot read what it says. There is a wire hanger on backside. Shelf wear on ridge, scuff on ceramic on edge showing underlying pottery and a small tiny flea bite on edge. Any flaws; made that way, whether it’s lumps, bumps, glaze errors spots and dots.
