Magnificent Italian Majolica Fruit Bowl 17 x 13

White basket weave pedestal bowl with handles filled with an array of gorgeous fruit. There is a small chip on the banana peel as noted clearly in the photograph so please look at it. I do not think this detracts from its aesthetics or value but you must make up your own mind about that. Otherwise this fruit bowl is in magnificent vintage condition and ready for display. It is also extremely heavy as you can imagine. It is 17 inches tall by 13 inches wide. This is a showpiece and dates from the 1970s. It came from a fine Sarasota Florida estate. There are a couple of very tiny paint chips around the rim as shown in the photos. They are not noticeable but you can feel them when you run your finger on the rim. There is a hairline on the bottom of the handle as shown in the photos. It’s noticeable but you can feel it when you run your finger on the bottom of the handle. This pitcher vase is hand painted.
