Handmade Pottery Ash Glaze Finish. White pottery technique from the Joseon Dynasty. Because it is100% handmade, the flow of glaze is uneven, and the distribution of iron is not regular. Fired at about 1200? (192?) and applied natural glaze.

Vintage Shearwater Pottery Bean pot. Made in Ocean Springs Mississippi. Signed on bottom with older half moon mark which reads: SHEARWATER. In great vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Pair VTG Studio Art Pottery Bowls Blue with Owl Detail Handmade Signed Two w/Spoon. Very special and lovely pair of bowls with owl and spoon. Gorgeous periwinkle blue subtle glaze. Each bowl measures approximately 5 1/4″ across 3″ high. The spoon measure 4 1/2′ long. Charming and very beautiful. Comes with a twist handle pottery spoon, which I do not believe is original, as the glaze is shiny, not matte as are the bowls. The bowls are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The spoon has a chip on the underside of the bowl. Signed Bramman or Brannam. These bowls are heavy and substantial. Birds Forest Natural World England.

This is a beautiful Chelsea Pottery glazed ceramic centerpiece bowl by the artist David Rawnsley. Ovely soft color petals. The pottery is best known for its highly decorated earthenware, the color of the pieces being achieved by the use of painting and colored glazes – a technique that has been referred to as’inlay and overlay’. This piece that would be sure to enhance any home, cabinet or collection. Was co-founded the Chelsea pottery with his wife, Elaine Doran.
