The bowl is hand painted; a figural of a man in a religious outfit and a griffin within the bowl. It has the spelling of Generale Civitatis PervsII StvdIvm. Signed in black on back side; cannot read what it says. There is a wire hanger on backside. Shelf wear on ridge, scuff on ceramic on edge showing underlying pottery and a small tiny flea bite on edge. Any flaws; made that way, whether it’s lumps, bumps, glaze errors spots and dots. See all pics, what you see is what you get. Measures 2 1/8″ X 12.25″.

Stunning Hand Thrown Studio Pottery Oval Casserole Bowl with Handles. It has a very nice matte glaze of tan-blue-green-gray with brown speckles. This piece is quite heavy nearly 5 lbs. And has built-in handles.
In excellent condition, I can find no flaws.
