Solveig Cox was a well known potter from Northern Virginia. Solveig Cox was a potter. For more than forty years before her passing in 2017. She was born in New York City and attended Bennington College where she began working with a potter’s wheel. From the beginning, clay has been her medium to express her ideas about women and later cats. This is a wonderful and RARE find from the renowned pottery Solveig Cox.
