Please view photos carefully as they are part of our Description. T his is a wonderful Vintage Mid Century hand-crafted and hand-decorated large Italian Art Pottery Platter, Bowl or Wall Decor Plaque. This signed and numbered piece was crafted by Elbee in Italy. The colorization on this piece adds to it’s unique character – the mid century aqua /turquoise tones (depends on your color interpretation) are a departure from many of Elbee’s creations. This spectacular piece measures nearly 2″ high x 12″ in diameter. Elbee’s traditional horse accents the center with sprigs of leaves for added interest. The Horse is hand painted in bright gold and white with the leaves in gold. The overall piece is aqua toned with what appears to be a crackle/crazed finish technique. The reverse is brown. Small “holes” and a wire have been crafted on the underside for wall display if preferred. In very nice Vintage condition with virtually no signs of use. These older pieces are quite fragile and prone to slight shaping irregularites, pottery skips or glazing/painting blemishes. As is expected, tiny skips and pops are evident along with several pottery blemishes. These faint issues to not detract from the unique quality of this Platter. The underside is hand marked. NOTE: This piece is a TRUE Elbee creation it is NOT a Fratelli Fanciullacci, Londi, Raymor, Bitossi etc. Designs (which are spectacular in their own right). The bright gold made photos a challenge we apologize for glare. Please Remember many of our items are Vintage, Antique, or preowned. Slight evidence of wear/use is to be expected. We attempt to note any obvious blemishes that we find. Photos are part of the description please review carefully. Any problems should be reported to us right away so we can attempt a resolution. The item “VINTAGE ITALIAN TRUE ELBEE AQUA TURQUOISE GOLD HORSE 12 BOWL WALL PLATE ITALY” is in sale since Monday, March 03, 2014. This item is in the category “Pottery & Glass\Pottery & China\Art Pottery\Majolica”. The seller is “gswo” and is located in Springfield, Illinois. This item can be shipped to United States.

Vintage Fiesta Covered Onion Soup Bowl in Original Turquoise Glaze Circa 1938: The vintage Fiesta covered onion soup bowl was discontinued very early on in production, just ever so shortly after the turquoise glaze was finalized and released, so finding the already hard to find covered onion soup bowl in the original turquoise glaze is next to impossible. This is for the bowl only! Lid was not recovered from estate. The handle has a tiny chip as pictured, otherwise I would say its in excellent condition for its age. I can add pictures if needed. Please review all terms prior to purchasing. DESCRIPTION: We are moving out some more family heirlooms from a relative that left us a ton of stuff. We can’t keep it all! But the proceeds are going to a good cause that she approved of, since she was a HUGE fan of rescuing dogs. Anyway, this is a stunning lidded pot by Eunice Prieto. We know she was born in 1924 and lived in Nevada. She has a long biography that you can look up online. We think this is from the 50s or 60s, perhaps the 70s?? We do not know the age for sure, but it’s signed Prieto, not Damron. We believe her later pieces were signed Damron (we are NOT experts on her pieces, sorry for our ignorance). This lidded pot is in FINE condition, with absolutely NO post-artist damage or flaws. It’s just stunning. It’s a large piece as you can tell by the measurements. The color is closest to what we’d call a muted turquoise, with brown here and there. It’s precisely executed, unbelievable quality. The tapered handle on the lid lends a nice, mod style to the entire vessel. Hope you will enjoy this piece as much as our family member did. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: 8.5 inches diameter overall; 7.75 or 8 inches tall with lid and just over 5 inches tall without lid, approximately. Since it’s so wide, it was hard to get exact height with lid on, somewhere between 7.75 and 8 inches. Adopt a USED DOG today–they will bring you years of love, and they NEED your love! Thank you for viewing our Atomic Cheez. The item “HUGE Vintage Mid Century Modern SIGNED Eunice Prieto TURQUOISE Blue POT LID Bowl” is in sale since Saturday, June 10, 2017. This item is in the category “Pottery & Glass\Pottery & China\Art Pottery\Studio/ Handcrafted Pottery”. The seller is “atomiccheez” and is located in Newman, California.
