Native American Vintage Signed Black Pottery Bowl Solid Black No Design – this is signed on the bottom of bowl and yet I could not completely make out the name of the artist. I did much research, but still cannot define the signage, etc. Looks very much like the “Santa Clara” made pottery and also that it is a Vintage piece. Measures 4″ across the top rim, 19 1/4″ around widest mid-section, and 6 1/2 high. See all pictures for added details of this RARE piece of black pottery. Solid black pottery pot with no cracks or dings, etc. There is, however, some age type spots on the lower sides of this pot.
JK 06 Signed Art Studio Stoneware Pottery 9 Bowl Blue Glaze Rustic Vintage Modern Farmhouse Loft Industrial. Pre-owned, very good condition with minimal sign of use or wear. No chips or cracks. Natural Un-glazed exterior terra cotta color clay with etched designs with applied glaze as seen and blue gloss glaze interior. The interior blue gloss glaze is quite striking and the contrast with the rustic exterior cannot be reflected completely in the photos. This is very nice in hand and is a quality art studio stoneware pottery bowl – both beautiful and functional. Bottom signed JK 06. Measurements – 3.5″ H x 9″ Diameter. Weight – 2 lb 6 oz. Vintage Pigeon Forge Pottery Lava Glaze Bowl Brown Atomic Burst Ridge D Ferguson. Used but great condition. No chips or cracks. There’s a hole in the center. It may be used as a candle holder. There is some what looks like discoloring on top. See last picture for reference. I’m unsure if this was made while manufactured or not. Douglas Ferguson and his wife Ruth founded Pigeon Forge Pottery in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in 1946. They organized their business so the pottery produced there would be high quality. At one point they employed 12 potters who would cast, glaze and fire stock items.

Onta ware is pottery made in Onta village, which lies in the center of Sarayama, a valley in Hita City, Oita Prefecture. Yanase Sanemon, a potter from Koishiwara, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Kuroki Jubei from Otsuru village, Hita district were invited to start Onta ware.
Boy and girl frog are whimsical with intentional distressing around candle holder. Measures approximately 9″ tall with base approximately 5.5″ wide & 5.5 deep. In excellent, vintage preowned condition. No cracks or breaks, small’flake’ Chip at edge as seen in last photo. Hard to spot. Could be touched up with a matching green. From a smoke free home.
It is in good shape for its age. Examine photos for condition and size.
