Very rare vtg San Jose Pottery charger plate dish bowl Black bird on branches

I’m a big fan of San Jose Pottery and have never seen another of these plates. It features a black bird sitting amid the leaves of a tree branch. Most likely made in the 1920s or 1930s. Its gorgeous colors include aqua and cobalt blue, greens, brown, black, gray and a pale golden for the bird’s breast. It’s in wonderful condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. (There’s a tiny glaze pop below the branches on the right — please see last photo). Measures 10 1/8 across. The San Jose Mission logo is on the back. Plate stand not included. Vintage Mermaid And Fish White Majolica French Plate Bowl France Scarce

We are downsizing our mermaid collection and this highly detailed piece has always been one of our favorites. In the center of the all-white majolica plate/shallow bowl is a coy mermaid astride a flying fish above the waves. Her left hand is resting on the fish while her right hand appears to be clutching strands of seaweed. Two other fish are watching them with amused expressions. The edges of the plate feature lobsters and branches of coral. The bottom of the plate has a shallow pedestal/foot along with the stamp P. We believe the P. Stands for PARRY VIELLE. The plate is in good condition. There are pinpricks on the upper side (see photos with arrows) and no major chips/cracks/stains. Underneath on the inside of the foot there are some minor nicks and one larger chip that does not distract from the piece. This plate is approximately 8-1/4 inches high x 8-1/4 inches across. It stands approximately 1-1/4 inches above the table surface. This will make a great addition to a mermaid collection. The white color will fit into any French country décor. Pine Ridge Sioux Pottery. Beautiful Large Hand Thrown Blue Plate and Bowl signed by Olive “Ollie” Cottier. Nice heavy warm glaze. No chips, cracks, or damage of note beyond a few areas of wear on the plate from where the bowl has rubbed the glaze. Plate measures 11.5″ in diameter and the bowl measures 9.75″ in diameter and stands x 3.25 tall. Please see pictures for details and condition. Beautiful, Vintage Japanese Pottery Dish Description and Item Information Up for sale is this vintage Japanese pottery plate or low bowl. Please excuse the glare in the photos. On its top side, this Mashiko piece has glazed decoration of stylized cherry blossoms. The back side has a tan nuka glaze, with some drips near the edges. The piece weighs 6 pounds 9.0 ounces, unpacked. It has a sleek, coupe shape. It is approximately 2 1/4 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 15 1/4 inches. This impressive piece would be a fine addition to a collection of Japanese studio ceramics. Identification This unmarked plate is believed to be Mashiko pottery, from Japan. It is vintage, but the exact age is not known. Condition This piece looks very good, with no chips or cracks. It has light wear. There is some fine, unstained crazing. Vtg Lion Face Head Art Pottery MAJOLICA Ceramic Bowl Italian Hand Made Plate

THIS IS A MAGNIFICENT PIECE! Great for the collector , uHand made and painted heavy pottery bowl. Embossed and painted in the pattern of a lion’s face. Bowl is 9.5 wide and 10 from top of bowl to bottom and 2 tall. The bowl is stamped made in Italy on the bottom. Has two holes on back for hanging. This is a heavy piece weighing approx 4 lbs without being packed up! Please know all the sales I make go towards care for my yorkies. I have 5 rescues , 2 of them have liver shunts , and they have seizures , they have to take seizure meds every 8 hours. Now my oldest one who is turning 14 in july has been diagnosed this week with cushings disease. I have been crying my eyes out just knowing he is sick. It feels like someone has ripped my heart out and smashed it to the floor and then pounced on it. This is a very expensive disease to get. It requires blood work and urine testing. He will have to go on a chemo drug which is expensive and then be monitored for bloodwork every couple of months.
