This large serving bowl measures approximately 11 7/8″ diameter and 4.5″ tall. The underplate measures approximately 14 7/8″ long and 14 1/4″ wide. They are both in good condition with the exception of some crazing and a small chip to the underside of one of the leaves on the bowl. There is also some show through of the clay through the glaze on the bowl. This has all been photographed for you to view. Large white porcelain punch bowl. Nicely decorated with hand painted a large orange flower on one side and a large pink flower on the other. The other sides have a small blue flower and a small purple & yellow flower. With a pink flower in the center of the bowl and blue, orange, purple & yellow flowers around the inside With a molded basketweave pattern around the edge of the bowl. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze crossed swords used between 1814 and 1860. Has two slash marks through the crossed swords mark. Has some usage wear to the center of the bowl, consistent with age. Otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 5/8 inches wide x 4 7/8 inches tall. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
Stunning handmade French provincial bowl. Makes a lovely Centerpiece or fruit bowl. Only thing to note is some minor surface glaze crazing. I do have a matching pour bowl. Make sure to look the pictures over carefully. I use a ruler in my photos so you can see the size of the item. The items I sell are largely vintage and gently used condition. Meaning they may have signs of age and / or wear. Most of my items do not include original packing or tags unless otherwise noted.
