This in EXCELLENT condition, with no sign of wear, usage or repairs. Only thing noted are couple FACTORY imperfections on the rim and several “glaze pops” on outside bottom, which can not be seen when set on table. No makers mark, but ample can be found in “Collector’s Encyclopedia of Bauer Pottery”, on page 41. Vintage Bauer Pottery Los Angeles Ringware Ivory 2-quart Batter Bowl

Vintage Bauer Pottery Ringware 2-quart Batter Bowl in Ivory color. 8-1/2″ wide by 4-1/2″ tall (not including handle and spout). Typical sagger marks and heavy glazed Bauer Los Angeles stamp on bottom. Overall condition is excellentthe glaze is shiny and clean, no hairlines, cracks, crazing, flea bites, or repairs. There is a glaze flake on the inside bottom (see photo 5), a few very light utensil marks, and a darker factory glaze line on the rim (see photo 2). With these things pointed out, it’s in remarkably excellent shape. Please see all photos for details. This Art Deco Spanish Revival line was produced in Los Angeles in various bright mix-n-match colors during the 1930′s, 40′s, 50′s and early 60′s, and this Batter Bowl is in a hard to find color. Vintage BAUER Monterey FOOTED Fruit BOWL Pottery Rare 10. We are pleased to present you a vintage Monterey footed fruit bowl made by Bauer Pottery in the 1930s. The Bauer Pottery started in Louisville, Kentucky, and then flourishing in Los Angeles, California, J. Bauer Pottery Company created simple, yet beautiful stoneware from the late 1880s to the early 1960s. With lines ranging from redware flowerpots to brilliantly colored dinnerware, Bauer Pottery was a staple in American homes for many decades. Inspired by the weather and lifestyles of Southern California, Bauer Pottery created many different lines for the home and garden. Bauer introduced new, richly colored styles after the Depression which met with overwhelming success. It wasn’t long before all the major pottery companies in the United States began to follow with their own interpretations of Bauer’s vision. The footed fruit bowl is made of ceramic material and in turquise color. It has a ring design on its side. Measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter and 3 5/8 inches tall. The bottom was marked “Bauer Los Angeles” (please see picture). Total weight is 3 lbs 9 oz. Amazing one small glaze skip please see all pictures.
