But the proceeds are going to a good cause that she approved of, since she was a HUGE fan of rescuing dogs. Anyway, this is a stunning lidded pot by Eunice Prieto. We know she was born in 1924 and lived in Nevada. She has a long biography that you can look up online. We think this is from the 50s or 60s, perhaps the 70s?? We do not know the age for sure, but it’s signed Prieto, not Damron. We believe her later pieces were signed Damron (we are NOT experts on her pieces, sorry for our ignorance). This lidded pot is in FINE condition, with absolutely NO post-artist damage or flaws. It’s just stunning. It’s a large piece as you can tell by the measurements. The color is closest to what we’d call a muted turquoise, with brown here and there. It’s precisely executed, unbelievable quality. The tapered handle on the lid lends a nice, mod style to the entire vessel. Hope you will enjoy this piece as much as our family member did. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: 8.5 inches diameter overall; 7.75 or 8 inches tall with lid and just over 5 inches tall without lid, approximately.
