On offer is the lovely vintage low bowl made by Rookwood Pottery in 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio. This bowl features a beautiful aqua/blue/green glaze over a lighter colored base. The bowl is molded and has a band of well-defined lily pads and waterlilies in high and low relief around the shoulder of the piece. The piece is in great condition and must have been used for several years to display flowers as there are water stains inside the bowl, please see pics. It shows well and is a harder to find example of Rookwood pottery. The piece is about 5.5 inches in diameter, the opening is about 4 3/8 in. It is approximately 3 inches tall. The bowl has 4 feet which elevate it. From surface and give it more prominence. This bowl would be an excellent addition to a Rookwood collection and would be a nice accent piece in an Arts and Crafts/Mission setting. It will be mailed from our smoke, pet free home. This is a beautiful antique Zsolnay eosin art nouveau center piece bowl. The bowl was made in Hungary and dates to circa 1900. The figurine depicts a semi-nude woman at a pond filling a water pitcher. This is a large piece and has a curved shell shaped bowl. It has ripples where the jug meets the water. The figure is finished in a green gold color. It is marked on the bottom with a disk or wafer and the number 6150 2. The bowl is 17″ long (43cm) by 14 1/2″ wide by 9 1/2 high. Great condition – Please note there is a professional wedge repair to the edge of the bowl in one spot. It is hard to see and photograph. There are scratches to the inside of the bowl. This beautiful bowl by Annie Baca. It is an original piece of Santa Clara traditional hand-coiled and hand carved pottery. It features a wonderful design of a Water Serpent wrapped around the pottery. The surface is about as fine polished as you can get. It is signed on the base Annie, Santa Clara Pueblo. It’s a fine example of Baca’s work and sure to be a highlight in any southwestern pottery collection – it is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. It measures 2 1/2″ tall x 3 1/8″ across. Annie Baca (born 1941) is a daughter of noted potter Cresencia Tafoya (1918-99) and Carmilita Tafoya. She is sister to Harriet Tafoya, Pauline Martinez and Mark Tafoya. Baca is known for her small pots with highly polished surfaces and finely painted designs.
