Breathtaking majolica style with two handles, a lid, and an attached underplate. The marks show a T in a circle. They are 3 3/4″ high x 5″ underplate.

HISTORY/MARKS: William Harry Grindley founded his pottery at the Newfield Pottery in 1880 at Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. Alfred Clough, Ltd bought the pottery in 1970 renaming it in 1978 to Grindley on Stokes.
Stunning and elegant set of 8 Haviland porcelain soup bowls with wide hand painted gold band and monogram. A few areas of light wear to gold but minimal. Marked on the base with the green Haviland France mark used from 1893 to 1930′s.

Antique 19th Century Staffordshire Blue Grecian Border Soup Tureen Underplate. Aesthetic Period Large Tureen Flow Blue Border with Gilt Gold. Gorgeous 19th Century Pattern Grecian Foliate Border in Charcoal Blue and Gilt Pom finial to lid. Measures 13 1/2 inches in height to top of finial on lid. Length handle to handle of tureen bowl is 16 inches. Underplate handle to handle is 16.5 inches. Width is 10.5 inch. Opening of tureen bowl is 12 inches length. Condition is quite good. One chip on lid, one chip to underside of the underplate. Crazing in some areas but does not detract. Overall good condition and displays well! Marked on the base of tureen and underplate Grecian Border as well as several impressed marks. A great display tureen as well as functional and large! Beautiful for your Holiday table and displays! Vintage or Midcentury Metlox PoppyTrail Broccoli Shape Soup Tureen w/ Ladle Mint. This beautiful piece is in mint condition. No chips or cracks. It appears it was never used.
